The PSP's Web BrowserEdit

The PSP's Internet Browser is a version of the NetFront browser made by Access Co. Ltd.

It was released for free with the 2.00 System Software update.

The browser supports a few common web technologies, like HTTP cookies, forms, CSS, and basic JavaScript capabilities.

Firmware 2.50Edit

Firmware 2.50 added Unicode (UTF-8) character encoding and auto-select as options in the browsers encoding menu, and it also inroduced the saving of input history for online forms.

Firmware 2.70Edit

Firmware 2.70 added basic Flash capabilities to the browser, however, as it only runs Macromedia Flash Player 6, which is four versions behind the current desktop version , it can make some websites very difficult to view.

Tabbed BrowsingEdit

The browser also has very limited tabbed browsing, and a maximum of three tabs can be open in the browser at any one time.
